Public comments on the AA/DEIS were accepted for three months from October 17, 2008 through January 17, 2009. These comments were reviewed and considered by the State of Maryland as part of the decision-making process for the selection of the Locally Preferred Alternative for the Purple Line. The comments are all part of the formal public record and will be responded to formally in the Final Environmental Impact Statement.
