Public Meetings & Events

Community Advisory Teams (CATs) have been established along the 16-mile corridor of the Purple Line, dividing it into eight geographic areas. These CATs are composed of neighborhood and civic association representatives, business associations, and local government officials. They serve as a bridge, providing a forum for residents and other stakeholders to engage in open dialogue with project staff. The meetings are open to the public, with priority given to CAT members during the Q&A sessions.

Additionally, the MTA hosts city council briefings and public meetings to keep the community informed and involved in the project's progress. These efforts demonstrate a commitment to transparency and community collaboration, ensuring that the Purple Line is developed with the community's input and best interests in mind.
