It's been a busy summer for the project. As we ramp up construction under the direction of our new design-build contractor, Maryland Transit Solutions (MTS), we also are fielding a lot of questions from the public about the Purple Line.

We kicked off the summer with a listening tour, hosting seven Community Advisory Team (CAT) meetings in every community along the Purple Line in June.

Our open houses last week in College Park and Silver Spring were a great success. They gave our team a chance to introduce ourselves and meet with future Purple Line riders.

Get ready for a noticeable ramping up of construction work along the Purple Line alignment.
